    ® NORDcanopy | OZ 4.0 Maintenance and User Manual ETS NORD OZ-cleaning system uses ozone to destroy grease particles in the canopy exhaust chamber and in ducts. Facts about ozone: • Ozone is a colourless gas, the sharp smell of which can be detected by a person at a concentration of 0.02 ppm (0,4 mg/m3).

    ® NORDcanopy | OZ 4.0 Maintenance and User Manual Before starting canopy maintenance, you must always turn off the system from the OZ cleaning system LCD control panel by selecting the “Off” mode under “System state”. ATTENTION! Do not use hard or abrasive detergents, chlorine or bleach when cleaning the canopy! Never clean the kitchen canopy when any of its surfaces are hot or in use.

    • The Smart schedule state is only to be used when an ETS NORD technician in cooperation with the restaurant manager has previously created an automatic schedule. If this has not been done, then the system will not automatically enable/disable itself.

    • Critical error – state is Normal when the system has no active errors that affect the regular operation of the system. - When the state is Alarm you should immediately contact the ETS NORD service department (service@ etsnord.com) to arrange a maintenance appointment to fix the errors.
