Note: Determine the left and right sides of the machine from the normal operating position.
Important: Refer to your Engine Operator's Manual for additional maintenance procedures.

Maintenance Procedure
• Torque the wheel-lug nuts.
• Check the alternator-belt tension.
• Check the compressor-belt tension.
• Check blade bolt torque
• Adjust the valve clearance.
• Change the planetary-drive gear/brake oil.
• Check the tire pressure.
• Lubricate the caster-arm bushings.
• Check the engine-oil level.
• Drain the water separator.
• Check the coolant level.
• Remove debris and chaff from the engine compartment, oil cooler, and radiator
(more often in dusty or dirty conditions).
• Check the hydraulic fluid level.
• Check mower blade condition
• Check the safety-interlock-switch operation
• Lubricate all grease fittings.
• Remove air cleaner cover and clean out debris Do not remove filter.
• Check the condition of the battery.
• Inspect the blade-drive belts.
• Check blade bolt torque
• Remove all debris and chaff from the engine compartment, radiator, and oil cooler.
• Inspect the cooling-system hoses.
• Torque the wheel-lug nuts.
• Change the engine oil and filter.
• Service the spark arrestor.
• Clean the cab air filters; replace them if they are torn or excessively dirty.
• Clean the air-conditioning assembly (more frequently in extremely dusty or dirty
conditions).
• Check the planetary-drive gear/brake-oil level (check if you observe external
leakage).
• Inspect the fuel lines and connections.
• Replace the fuel/water separator element.
• Replace the fuel-filter element
• Inspect the mower-deck caster-wheel assemblies.
• Change the planetary drive gear/brake oil (Or yearly, whichever comes first).
• Drain and clean the fuel tank.
• Calibrate the traction pedal.
• Check the rear-wheel toe-in.
• Check the alternator-belt tension.
• Check the compressor-belt tension.
• Replace the blade-drive belts.
• Change the hydraulic fluid and filters.
