DVD DEBUG MODE
This mode is used to unable to reset for performing the debug of
DVD.
Procedure:
1. Press the
button to turn the power on.

COLOR SYSTEM CHANGE-OVER
(Singapore and Australian models)
This mode is used to changed over color system.
Procedure:

COMPULSION INTERLACE
This mode is used to changed over video output into interlace.

VACS DISPLAY
This mode is used to display of VACS (Variable Attenuation Control
System) states.
Procedure:

3. When VACS is on, "VACS O" is displayed. When VACS is
off, "VACS OFF" is displayed.
VACS ON/OFF
This mode is used to switch on or off the VACS (Variable Attenuation
Control System).
Procedure:

button to turn the power on.

3. VACS on/off are changed over.
PRODUCT OUT
This mode is used to performed COLD RESET and SHIP MODE
simultaneously.
Procedure:

2. The message "ColdRESET" is displayed on the fluorescent
indicator tube, and the set is reset, then becomes standby mode.

DVD SECTION
DVD TEST MODE GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Test Mode allows you to make diagnosis and adjustment easily
using the remote commander and monitor TV. The instructions,
diagnostic results, etc. are given on the on-screen display (OSD).

Use the following test disc on test mode.
TDV-520CSO (DVD-SL) : Part No. J-2501-236-A
LUV-P01 (CD)
TDV-540C (DVD-DL)
Note: Do not use existing test disc for DVD.
STARTING DVD TEST MODE
1. Press the
button to turn the power ON.

2. Press the [FUNCTION] button to select "DVD".
4. Press three buttons of the
simultaneously.
5. The message "SERVICE IN" is displayed on the fruorescent
indicator tube, and the Test Mode Menu is displayed on the
monitor screen as follows. (At the bottom of the menu screen,
the model name and revision number are displayed)
