S command when old versions of the AD-4212C series balances are used
For AD-4212C balances with a software version 1.40 or earlier, the S command must be enabled
using the procedure described below.
For AD-4212C balances with a software version 1.41 or later, the S command is enabled by sending
the C command to stop the continuous data output.
Enabling the S command
Download the "WinCT" software on our website, https://www.aandd.co.jp/.
Carry out the following procedure using the "RsCom" software in the "WinCT".
1. Send the C command to stop the continuous data output.
2. Changing the setting
Send the PR:00 command to the balance.
The balance enters the command mode. This enables
the S command. This setting is maintained in memory
even if the AC adapter is removed.
