KEPCO
This guide gives a brief introduction to the BOP 1KW-
EL and -GL Power supply, shows simple load connec-
tions, and allows you to verify the power supply is
working. The guide also shows you how to perform the
most commonly used functions.
Models with EL and GL suffixes are identical except
that the EL units have a factory-installed LAN interface,
and the GL units have a GPIB interface that replaces
the LAN interface. Unless otherwise noted this guide
applies to both models.

FIRMWARE VERSION.
use either the GPIB port or RS 232 port (see page 6) or
LAN port (see page 8) to accept remote commands.
If necessary, refer to "Reset Power-up" on page 9 and
Figure 6 to configure the GPIB address (default is 6) or
configure the RS 232 baud rate (default is 9600).
Apply power to the unit and send *IDN? query. The unit
responds with a character string containing the follow-
ing fields: <Manufacturer>,<Model Voltage- Current
Calibration Date>,<Serial Number>, <Firmware Ver-
sion> e.g., KEPCO,
2001,123456,4.01.
