To start engine, ensure ignition is in the "on" condition with the dashboard illuminated and the bike is in neutral.

To turn the engine off, press

and hold the "KILL" button (1).
To start the engine, press and

hold the "START" button (2).

When starting the engine with
a cold engine pull the cold start
lever (3), keep the lever
depressed until the engine
temperature is warm enough
to tick over.
