7. PRECAUTIONS FOR OPERATING THE MACHINE (Print & Paste on the Wall near Machine)
Prior to operation ensure that the machine has been installed correctly as outlined in
Electrical Connection of this manual. Failure to do so can result in damage to the machine
which can void the warranty.
● Shut off the machine and switch off the input power supply from MCB when machine is not in
use.
● Disconnect output Cable from batteries when machine is not in use.
● Don't Connect DC Output clamp with batteries before switching on the machine.
● The machine surrounding area should be clean & dry.

8. SAFETY GUIDELINES

1. Cleanliness — Liquid spills or metal objects carelessly dropped or placed can cause shorts
circuits damaging the system as well as injuring personnel, dirt and dust accumulating at the
machine air inputs can impede air flow, thereby decreasing the cooling effectiveness of the
blowers and possibly resulting in over temperature that can cause the system to stop and / or
damage some components.
2. Fire— In order to minimize a fire and to reduce the extent of any damage resulting from such
an incident, the walls, ceiling and floor of the machine room should be constructed of non-
combustible materials. A portable carbon dioxide extinguisher should be located near the
machine. Personnel involved in operating and/or maintaining the machine should be familiar
with Class C hazardous fire.
a) Access to the machine should be limited to a minimum number of personnel. All
personnel who operate or maintain the machine should be trained in normal and
emergency operational procedures.
b) Establish proficiency test to security/personnel at preferred specific intervals during
every month or every quarter.
c) New personnel should be trained and tested prior to operating the equipment.
d) A thorough knowledge of first aid procedures, especially those pertaining to electrical
shock or burns, and the use of carbon dioxide fire extinguishers should be mandatory.
3. Lead acid batteries contain sulfuric acid electrolyte, and may produce gases (Hydrogen and
Oxygen) during charging that can explode causing injuries. Therefore, be cautious while
charging the batteries with X – Power Charger.
4.
You must remove jewellery, wear protective eyewear (safety glasses), dress properly, and
exercise caution. Do not allow battery electrolyte to mix with salt water. Even small quantities
of this combination will produce chlorine gas that can kill you. Avoid sparks of any kind when
near batteries or when using the machine. Do not smoke or lit any kind of fire in proximity to
lead acid batteries.
5. As mentioned herein, batteries are hazardous and dangerous goods that if improperly handled
can cause damages to the environment and to you. Neutralize any spills immediately with soda
ash or an appropriate neutralizing agent. Always wear protective clothing and gloves (PPE) and
follow safety protocols.
