Getting started

4.1

Power supply

The PCE-LES 103 / 103UV is a handheld device powered by a 7.4 V 2400 mAh Li-Ion battery
that allows it to work without connecting it to any power supply when it is sufficiently charged.
When the battery is discharged, charge it by connecting the optionally available USB charger to
the 240 V AC net and the USB plug to the USB connector of the device. The charger will provide
a stable 5 V DC output to charge the battery inside the device. Alternatively, the meter can also
be charged via the USB port of your computer.
The device can work connected to the power supply or with no external connection if the battery
is charged. In both cases, the operation will be the same, as described in the next sections of this
manual.
