Removing a hot-swap power supply/fan unit

Complete the following steps to remove a hot-swap power supply:
1. Switch off the power supply.
2. Unplug the power supply cord from the electrical outlet.
3. Disconnect the power cord from the power supply.

Complete the following steps to install a hot-swap power supply:
1. Ensure that the power supply you are installing is switched off.
2. Grasp the handles 2 and slide the power supply into the storage unit.
3. Tighten the power supply thumbscrews 1 .
4. Connect the power cord to the power supply.
5. Plug the supply power cord into a properly grounded electrical outlet.
6. Switch on the power supply.

If you just installed a second (redundant) supply, the fault (amber) LED will light
because its power switch is switched off.
If you just installed a second (redundant) supply, after you switch on the power,
the fault (amber) LED will switch off and the ac and dc power (green) LEDs will
