The factory alignment procedure compensates for temperature and humidity.
It
is desirable
that the procedure be performed at or as close as possible to normal living conditions.
1. Precondition the alignment disc by exposing it to room temperature for one hour.
2. lnsta!J the alignment disc.
CAUTION
THE ALIGNMENT DISC HAS SPECIAL ALIGNMENT DATA
RECORDED ON IT. EXTREME CAUTION SHOULD BE EXER-
CISED TO PREVENT THIS DISC FROM BEING WRITTEN ON.

Set up the scope as follows:

4. Connect the scope as follows:
. 1 Volts/Division ac
