3x QSGMII ports. VSC8512 PHY Additional 12x 1G copper ports are derived by VSC8512 PHY on EPS-24G4X carrier via 3x QSGMII interface from the module. The VSC8512 is a low-power 12-port Gigabit Ethernet Transceiver with low Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) line driver and integrated line side termination resistors that conserve both power and space.
The EPS-24G4X Carrier Board is equipped with a 3-pin Latching Connector Serial Interface on J11. Power Supply The EPS-24G4X is powered through an 8-pin Latching Power Input Connector J14 that uses a +7VDC to +34VDC wide-range power supply unit. Overvoltage protection is provided using onboard TVS diode.
