WALKING PATTERNS

When applying fertiliser, walk at a speed of ± 5 km/h (this corresponds to a brisk pace) and
keep the hopper in as stable, upright position. If the walking speed is slower or faster, the
product will be distributed differently.

Single Pass Fertiliser Spreading (x1)
Use the full dose recommended on the back of the packaging.
Cover the area as shown by passing over it in an up-and-down track,
taking into account the spread width of the material to be applied.
Cross Sectional Fertiliser Spreading (x2)
Divide the dose recommended on the back of the packaging into 2 equal
parts and spread them evenly in 2 directions, one perpendicular to the
other, as shown.
