Consumer Fault Mode (CFM)

The Consumer Fault Mode provides a way for
consumers to read the fault table from their
washers to provide them to the service call taker.
This will allow the service technicians to bring the
correct replacement parts to the service call.
Entry into Consumer Fault Mode
While the machine is in IDLE (all LEDs off):
• Press and hold Start button for 10-seconds.
• After holding the Start button for 10-seconds,
all LEDs will turn on, signifying the user may
release the button and the machine will boot
into CFM.
Behaviors While in Consumer Fault Mode
• The Pause and Lid Lock LEDs should be
constantly blinking while in CFM.
• First fault, if present, will show on the display.
• Faults with an ID greater than 100 will not be
displayed. These are "engineering faults".
• Pressing the Start button will display the next
Fault Code.
• At the end of the buffer or if no faults present:
• All status LEDs will blink.
Exiting Consumer Fault Mode
• Pressing any button (other than Start) or
turning any knob will exit Consumer Fault
Mode.
• Consumer Fault Mode will timeout after
10-minutes.

Field Service Mode

Field Service Mode Entry
Press and hold the Start button while rotating
the cycle selection knob seven clicks and then
release the Start button.
• Once Service Mode is entered, all LEDs will
be flashing.
• The Cycle Selection knob is now used to
control the test selection menu.
• Rotating knob clockwise (CW) will
increment test numbers in display.
• Rotating knob counter-clockwise (CCW)
will decrement test number in display.
• Turning knob to go to a different test will
terminate any current active test.
• Once test number is selected, pressing Start
will begin the selected test.
Exit Field Service Mode
• If water is in the tub, use Drain Pump Test
12 to drain the washer before exiting Service
Mode.
• Field Service Mode will time out after
30-minutes if there is no user activity.
• Press the Power button.
