Cleaning and Taking care of the Camcorder
Cteanmg the Viewfinder
• Releasmg the Eyecap
1 Pull the VIEWFINDER up and then turn the screw counter-crockwtse
2 Pull the EYECAP out
3 Clean the EYECAP and the VlEWFINDER screen w_th a soft cloth
and cotton swab or a blower
• Reattachmg the Eyecap
4 Put the EYECAP on the VIEWFINDER
5 Put the screw back on
Cleaning the LCD panel
Open the LCD monttorand wtpe tt gentlyw,th a soft cloth
Be carefu[ not to damage the panel
Cleanmg the Video Heads

•t, To ensure normal recording and clear p_ctures clean the video heads
•t, When the playback ptctures are noisy or hardly wstble, the vtdeo heads may be dirty

If thts happens, clean the video heads
with a dry type cassette cleaner
1 Set the power swttch to PLAYER mode
2 Insert the creanmg tape
3 Press the IHI {PLAY/STILL) button
4 Press the • {STQPI button after about 30 seconds
Check the qualtty of the ptcture usmg a video cassette
If it rs stt[I bad repeat the operation If the problem
continues, contact your local authorized serwce center
Storing the Camcorder
1 You must detach the BATTERY PACK from the
CarT]Corderwhen stonng
2 Keep the carT]corder _na venttlated dry and warm place
3 Do not Keep the camcorder in a place ;',,here the
temperature often changes such as in a car
