SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Failure to follow the safety precautions may result in the risk of serious injury.
- Never exceed the maximum supported weight of 165 kg.
- Make sure all components are secure before use.
- Ensure that the product is in good working order.
- Visually inspect the product.
- Brakes and castors must be checked before each use.
- Check the stability of the chair before use.
- Use only on level ground.
- When stationary, remember to apply the castor brakes.
- Be sure to release the brakes before moving the chair again.
- For transfers or when the chair is stationary, also apply the brakes.
- Raise the footrests before sitting down or leaving the chair.
- Move the footrests out of the way before getting in or out of the chair. Always remove your feet from the footrest before
folding it down.
- Never bend over while in the chair.
- Be careful not to pinch your fingers when moving or removing the potty.
- Make sure the potty rests securely on the two rails under the seat.
- Check castor bearings, brakes, footrest locking mechanism, seat and backrest cushions, armrest and backrest pads, potty and
cover.
- If any parts are damaged, broken, worn or missing, contact your dealer.

ASSEMBLY AND USE

Chair frame assembly
1. Loosen the two knobs (1) on either side of the toilet chair by turning counter-clockwise.
2. Insert the backrest sections (2) into the two frame receivers.
3. Secure the backrest by tightening the two knobs (1) by turning clockwise.
Armrests use
1. Armrests can be removed for lateral transfer and replaced if necessary by the user.
2. To replace the armrests, place both ends of the armrest tube in the receivers on the frame.
3. To remove the armrests, simply lift them up.
Footrest installation
1.To fit the footrests, insert the 2 tubing holes into the lugs when the footrest is turned
outwards. Then rotate the footrest as shown in the diagram to lock it in use position at
the front of the wheelchair.
2.To swivel and retract the footrest, press the chrome lever while pushing back the leg
rest. The leg rest can then be lifted out of the way.
Wheel brake adjustment
Press the lever above the wheel to engage the parking brake (as shown). To release the
lock, press the protruding tab above the wheel.
