Assembly & Installation This section of the manual will walk you through how to assemble and install your lift system and can be performed with the lift system on the ground.

1. Slide the First Stage Cable Management Bracket into place on the right side of the Lift System and secure it using (2) M6 x12 FHMS.

2. Attach the top of the Cable Track to the First Stage Cable Management Bracket using (2) M6 x 10 BHMS. Note: Ensure the opening on the Bottom of the Cable Track is facing the same direction as the opening on the Top.

3. Attach the Second Stage Cable Management Bracket to the Main Lift Assembly using (2) M6 x 12 BHMS.

4a. Fasten (2) M6 x 12 BHMS to the Second Stage Cable Management Bracket, but do not fully tighten. 4b. Slide the Snakeskin Bracket onto the Second Stage Cable Management Bracket and tighten the (2) M6 x 12 BHMS from Step 4a.

5a. Connect one end of the 1m Motor Cable to the top actuator and run the rest of the cable along the green path. 5b. Connect one end of the 2.5m Motor Cable to the bottom actuator and run the rest of the cable along the red path.

6a. Install the Control Box on the Right Side of your enclosure using (2) #10 x 1-3/4” FHWS. Note: For the remainder of this Installation Manual, the Control Box will be hidden from view. From this point forward, the manual assumes the Installation Bracket has been installed. If it has not, locate the Installation Manual in Box 1and complete this first.

10. Secure the Lift System to the Installation Bracket using (2) M6 x 12 FHMS.

11. Push the lift system up on the Installation Bracket until the Installation Bracket is fully retracted. Note: There is a halfway point that the system will stop at, depress the paddles and continue pushing the lift system up.

12a. Lock the Installation Bracket into its final position using (2) M6 x 12 BHMS. 12b. Once the Installation Bracket is fully retracted, secure the bracket to the rear of the enclosure or wall using (4) #14 x 1” FHWS.

STOP You are about to retract your assembled lift system for the first time with a Ceiling Cover attached. Ensure that there are no obstructions in the path of travel for your lift, including any catches for your celing cover to rest against. Any obstruction or ceiling cover catch will cause damage to your lift and void your 10 year warranty.

IMPORTANT: THE L-77i & L-77ix FEATURE A NEW CEILING COVER DESIGN - YOU MUST NOT CREATE A CEILING COVER CATCH AS PART OF YOUR INSTALLATION. THE CEILING COVER MUST BE ABLE TO RETRACT ABOVE IT’S NORMAL CLOSED POSITION AS A PART OF THE RESET PROCEDURE.

30. Press the Retract Button to raise the Lift System to check the fit of your Ceiling Cover with the surrounding ceiling/enclosure. Carefully watch to ensure the Ceiling Cover or the Lift will not make contact with any points of the surrounding enclosure. If needed, press the Extend button to stop the Lift at any point during travel.

34a. Disconnect the Screen Backplate from the Vertical Mounting Bars. Note: You can disengage the spring-loaded latch on the Vertical Mounting Bars by pulling the straps at the bottom. 34b. 35a. Attach the Vertical Mounting Bars to your TV using the Marked Holes and appropriate TV Mounting Hardware. 35b. Carefully hang your TV on the Screen Backplate, ensure the spring-loaded latch on each Vertical Mounting Bar is engaged with the Screen Backplate. Note: If needed, the level of the TV can be adjusted by using the bolts on the back of each Vertical Mounting Bar.
