• Some examples of means for reducing the vibration
stress are wearing gloves while using the tool and
limiting work time. In the process all parts of the
operating cycle must be taken into account (such
as times in which the electric tool is switched off or
time in which it is switched on, but is not running
under a load).

Assembly

Before connecting the machine, make certain that the
data on the type plate matches with the mains pow-
er data.
Always pull out the mains plug before carrying out ad-
justments on the device.
Pull out the mains plug before all maintenance and
assembly work.
• The machine must be stable, i.e. bolted down on a
workbench or similar. or similar.
• Prior to commissioning, all covers and safety devic-
es must be mounted correctly.
• The grinding disc must be able to run freely.
• Before connecting the machine, make certain that
the data on the type plate matches with the mains
power data.
Safety instruction! Do not connect the device until all
assembly and adjustment work has been completed
and the operating manual and safety instructions have
been read and understood.
Tool support (left and right)
(fig. 1, 2, 2.1)
Fasten the tool support (4) to the grinding wheel guard
(6) with the mushroom head screw (M6x10) (a) and
the star grip nut (b). The distance between the grind-
ing disc (3) and the tool support (4) must be set to
max. 2 mm.
Spark protection with LED work lamp (left and
right) (fig. 1, 3)
Fasten the spark guard (2) with LED work lamps (5)
to the grinding wheel guard (6) with two M5x8 pan
head screws (c).
The distance to the grinding wheel (3) should be not
more than 2mm. The distance between the spark
guard (2) and the grinding wheel (3) can be adjusted
by slackening the two pan head screws (c). Tighten
the screws securely.
LED work lamp (Fig. 1, 4, 4.1, 4.2)
The lighting (5) can be switched on by pressing the
switch (d) on the lamp. The lighting is switched off by
pressing the switch again.
Open the battery compartment (fig. 4.1) to insert/
change the batteries (2x AAA R03 1.5 V). Insert the
batteries (2x on each side) (Fig. 4.2). If you change
the batteries dispose of the used batteries properly.
Replace the cover of the battery compartment in re-
verse order (Fig. 4.1).
Protective panels (Fig. 1, 5, 5.1)
Install the safety screen (1) on the LED work lamp
(5) with the M5x55 mushroom head screw (e) and the
knurled head screw (f).
The protection is individually adjustable so that the
user's eyes are protected during the grinding process.

8. Operation

m Attention!
Always make sure the product is fully assembled
before commissioning!
Switching on/off
• To switch on, set the ON/OFF switch (8) to the ON
position.
• To switch off, set the ON/OFF switch (8) to the OFF
position.
Do not start grinding until the device has reached its
maximum speed.
Working instructions
• Note that the best results are achieved with low
pressure of the workpiece on the grinding disc, as
then work is done at a constant speed. Excessive
pressure on the workpiece brakes the grinding disc
or it comes to a standstill, this overloads the engine
and does not accelerate the work process.
• For your own safety, always secure small workpiec-
es with a vice or screw clamp.
Sanding
• Place the workpiece on the workpiece support (4)
and slowly move it towards the grinding disc (3) at
the desired angle until it touches it.
• To obtain an optimum grinding result and to wear
the grinding disc (3) evenly, the workpiece should
be moved slightly back and forth on the grinding
disc (3).
• Always allow the workpiece to cool down.
