Can all keypads and locks be interchangeable/paired together? A. The 700 Basic Keypad and locks are not compatible with any of the other 700 Series locks or keypads.

Low Battery Warning – Keypad will repeat signal 5 times during lock opening. This warning indicates that the battery is low and should be replaced.

    A. Yes, all locks and keypads work together in an out of box state. If locks are already paired to one system, they can be reset, utilizing the LA GARD 700 Series Reset Box (704065) or the lock can be Uninstalled (#23) from the old keypad and installed to the new keypad.
  • Page 9 8. How can I tell which model keypad I have? A. Each keypad will have a label: • Standard profile – the label is in the battery compartment on the right side wall. • Low profile – the label is located on the inside of the swing door on the lower fascia plate leading to the connector access.
  • Page 10 B. The LA GARD 700 Series provides a low battery indicator for low battery condition and critically low battery condition. Battery life can vary because of environmental conditions, frequency of use and battery quality. We recommend that you establish a routine battery maintenance plan.
