Press the button on the device to configure the desired signal strength
→ Display of the changed simulated signal strength, example: signal strength = 8
LEDs, switch output: switched, current output: 16.8 mA
Move the encoding switch to the initial position 0
→ Display of the current signal strength
The simulation ends as soon as the encoding switch is no longer at position 9.

8.1

Function check

Before commissioning the measuring point, check whether the post-installation and post-
connection checks have been performed.

8.2

Powering up the measuring device

The microwave barrier will be switched on by an applied power supply on FQR56 trans-
mitter and FDR56 transceiver.
The microwave barrier is ready for operation a maximum of 3 s after the supply voltage is
applied.
