d) Check that the space available is suitable for housing the product
and the air connections, also taking into account the hydraulic
safety devices, electrical connections and hydraulic connections;
e) Ensure that the place chosen for installation has adequate space
for connecting the safety unit siphon, to which the condensate
outlet will also be connected;
f) Avoid installing the appliance in environments that may favour the
formation of ice or frost. The product was designed to be installed
indoors. Product performance and safety cannot be guaranteed if
it is installed outdoors;
g) Ensure that the room where the appliance is to be installed and
the electrical and hydraulic systems to which it will be connected
fully comply with the applicable legislation;
h) Check that a single-phase 220-240V ~ 50Hz power supply source
is available in the place chosen for installation , or that it can be
arranged there;
i) Ensure that the wall is perfectly vertical and can withstand the
weight of the water heater when full of water;
j) Check that the place chosen for installation conforms to the
IP rating (protection against the penetration of liquids) of the
appliance, in accordance with applicable legislation;
k) Check that the appliance is not exposed to direct sunlight, even
where there are windows;
l) Ensure that the appliance is not exposed to, or the extracted air
does not come from, particularly aggressive environments con-
taining acidic fumes, particulates, gases or solvents;
m) Ensure that the appliance is not directly installed on power lines
that are not protected against voltage surges;
n) Check that the appliance is installed as close as possible to where
it will be used in order to limit heat dispersion along the piping;
o) It is highly recommended, in addition to fixing it to the wall, to use
the specific support (code 3629157) for the 150 l model.

WALL-MOUNTED INSTALLATION

WARNING!
Fasten the product using the brackets to a load-bearing wall.
Avoid installing the product on walls subject to strong vibra-
tions or pulsations.
For each bracket use:
• 2 wall plugs;
• 2 Fischer M10, M12 or M14 dichromate concrete screws;
• 2 x M10, M12 or M14 nuts;
• 2 x M10, M12 or M14 washers.
Make sure that the screws and bolts are firmly tightened.
Installation sequence:
a) Remove the packaging from the product;
b) Fasten the product to the wall. The water heater is equipped with
a wall-mounted support bracket, complete with the relative mount-
ing systems, which are properly sized and suitable for withstand-
ing the weight of the appliance when filled with water, and two
vibration-damping rubber pads.
When fastening the support bracket, use the two wall plugs,
screws and vibration-damping pads provided, while taking care
to avoid embedded cables and pipes.

AIR SUPPLY CONNECTIONS

WARNING!
A type of canalization not suitable affects product performance
and significantly increases the heating time!
Please bear in mind that using air from heated environments may
hamper the building's thermal performance.
There is one connection for the air intake and one for the air exhaust
on the top side of the appliance.
For non-ducted installations, it is important not to remove, break or
tamper in any way with the air inlet and outlet grilles. In case of duct-
ed installation, it is necessary to use the adapters without the grille.
The outlet air may reach temperatures that are 5-10°C lower com-
pared to that of the inlet air and, if not ducted, the temperature of the
room of installation may drop sensibly. In case of non-ducted installa-
tion, observe the specified distances from the walls (Fig. A).
If operation by exhaust or intake to the outside (or another room) of
the treated air by the heat pump is foreseen, suitable ducting must
be used for air passage.
IMPORTANT: we recommend using insulated pipes to avoid the
formation of condensation.
Ensure that the ducting is connected and fastened securely to the
product to prevent accidental disconnections and annoying noises.
Install the ducts by following all the heights as shown in (Fig. B).
If there are ducting pipes with a Ø<150, use the specific adapter sup-
plied with the product.
WARNING: Do not use outdoor grills resulting in high losses, such
as anti-insect grilles.
The grids used should allow good air flow, the distance between the
inlet and outlet air should not be less than 27 cm. Protect pipes from
the external wind. The expulsion of air in the chimney is allowed only
if the draft is appropriate, is also required periodic maintenance of
the barrel, and chimney accessories.
If grilles are installed at the inlet and/or outlet of the ducting, the air
inlet and/or outlet grilles located on the top of the product should be
removed.
For the maximum length of air ducts, including the terminal, please
refer to the "Typical Configurations" table.
110 - 150 L
The total static pressure loss due to installation is calculated by
adding the loss of the single installed components; this sum must
be lower than the static pressure of the fan (Appendix)
90°
CAUTION! It is recommended that ø 110/125 mm ducts should only
be used for ducting to the outside. Ducting into living rooms with
such diameters generates a high air velocity and increased noise.
To facilitate the correct assembly of the product, please refer to
the installation template shown on the box used for packaging.
For the 110 l and 150 l versions, also fasten the lower bracket
using the screws and wall plugs provided.
