Labelling a CD
- Disc Memo Function
IIIIIIIIIIIIIII
You can label up to 50 CDs with titles of up to
20 symbols and characters. Whenever you
load a labeled CD, the title (disc name)
appears in the display.

1 Press FUNCTION repeatedly until
"CD" appears.
To label a disc, press I to stop
playing a disc. When "SHUFFLE" or
"PROGRAM" appears in the
display, press PLAY MODE
repeatedly until it disappears.
Press DISC SKIP/EX-CHANGE
repeatedly to select the desired CD.

Press NAME EDIT/CHAR.
The cursor starts flashing.
5 Press NAMEEDIT/CHAR
repeatedly Until the type of
character you want appears.
Each time you press the button, the
display changes as follows:
A (Upper case) --* a (Lower case)
0 (Numbers) ---* ! (Symbols)*
--_ _ _ (Space)** _

* You can use the following symbols.

** To enter a space
Go to step 7.
You cannot label the blank space
from the first letter.
Turn jog dial until the character you
want appears.
7 Press I_lw.
The ctarsor shifts rightward and waits for
the input of the next character.
8 Repeat steps 5 to 7 to complete the
entire title.
If you made a mistake
Press _1 or _ until the character you
want change flashes, then repeat steps 4
to 6.
To erase the character
Press CLEAR while the character is
flashing
Press ENTER/YES to complete the
labelling procedure
