Please read all the information in this manual, including
the safety, operating and maintenance information. To
avoid potential risks of fire, electric shock or injury to
persons, users should read and understand all directions
and warnings in this manual.
1. Read all instructions before using this heater.
2. Do not use this heater outdoors.
3. Do not use this heater in bathrooms, laundry areas or
similar locations.
4. Do not run the power cord under carpeting. Do not
cover the power cord with throw rugs, runners or
anything similar. Keep the cord away from congested
areas, so it cannot be tripped over.
5. To disconnect the heater, turn or the controls off and
remove the plug from the outlet.
6. Connect to properly grounded outlets only. Always plug
heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use
extension cords or reloadable power taps.
7. To prevent a possible fire, do not block the air intakes or
exhaust. Never use the heater on soft surfaces (e.g.
beds), where openings could get blocked.
8. There is a thermostat limiter inside the heater. When
the inner temperature overheats, the thermostat
protective device cuts the power supply – this is so the
appliance is not damaged and limits the risk of fire
hazards.
9. Only use this heater as described in the manual. Any
other use, which is not recommended by the
manufacturer, may cause a fire, electric shock or injury
to persons.
WARNING: Extreme caution is necessary when heaters are
used by or near small children. When in use, do not leave
the heater unattended.
WARNING: Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord
or plug or after heater malfunctions, has been dropped or
damaged. Return the heater to an authorised service facility
for any checks and repairs.
CAUTION: When the heater is in use, the top centre of the
fireplace can get extremely hot, which can cause serious
burns. Small children must be supervised when near this
appliance. Do not place towels, cloths, clothes, decoration
or other fabric on the heater. This can obstruct the outlet,
resulting in a fire or damage to product.
