General information
NOTICE!
Risk of incorrect measurements and error messages
The measurement method is susceptible to electromagnetic fields and
influences. These can lead to incorrect measurements and error messages:
– Do not install the unit, measurement cell, measurement cell cable or signal
line near frequency-controlled motors, mobile communication antennas, or
wireless LAN antennas.
– Lay the measuring cell cables and signal cables as far away as possible
from electric motors and frequency converters.
– Do not lay measurement cell cables and signal cables together with high-
energy cables in a cable duct.
NOTICE!
Risk of incorrect measurements and error messages
Measurement cell cables and signal cables are sensitive to electromagnetic
fields and influences:
– For cables longer than 5 m, use a shielded signal cable (e.g. LIYCY > 0.34
mm²).
– The shield must be placed on one side on the device ground of the
transmitter or receiver device (e.g. PLC), and under no circumstances on
the protective conductor.
