Getting started

Telephone base installation

Install the telephone base as shown below. The telephone base s desgned for
desk or tabletop use only. Make sure that the electrcal outlet s not controlled by
a wall swtch. If you subscrbe to hgh-speed Internet servce (Dgtal Subscrber
Line - DSL) through your telephone lines, you must have a DSL filter between
the telephone base and the telephone wall jack. The filter will prevent noise and
caller ID problems caused by DSL nterference. Please contact your DSL servce
provider for more information about DSL filters.
