Make sure you subscrbe to caller ID wth call watng features provded by the local telephone
company.
The caller may not be callng from an area whch supports caller ID.
Both you and the caller's telephone companes must use equpment whch are compatble wth
caller ID servce.
Caller ID data may not be dsplayed on your phone f you answer a call at or before the second
rng. Ths would also apply to an answerng devce that answers the call at or before the second
rng.
If you have DSL service through your telephone line, you must install a DSL filter at each
wall jack that has a telephone connected to it (page 2). The filter will prevent noise and caller
ID problems caused by DSL interference. Contact your DSL service provider for filters and
addtonal nformaton.
Although the call log entres you receve have 10 dgts, (the area code plus the seven-dgt
number), n some areas, you may need to dal only the seven dgts, or a 1 plus the seven dgts,
or a 1 plus the area code plus the seven dgts. You can change the number of dgts that you
dal from the call log.
Whle revewng the call log, press # repeatedly to dsplay these dalng optons for local and
long dstance numbers before dalng or savng the telephone number.
If the call log entry receved has ether seven or ten dgts, you may also press 1 repeatedly
to dsplay the dalng optons for local and long dstance numbers before dalng or savng the
telephone number.
