Handset Operation
MID - Mid-Range sounds enhanced (This setting
is recommended for hearing aid users).
TREBLE - High Frequency sounds enhanced.
NATURAL - No frequency enhancement (Your
Handset is preset to this selection).
The Handset will graphically display these four
modes.
NOTE: The Sound Select feature cannot be used
when in Speakerphone or Headset talk mode.

Mute Function

During an active call pressing the MUTE softkey
on the Handset, will disable the microphone. Press
MUTE again to return to normal two-way conversa-
tion.

Hold Function

Press the HOLD softkey to place a call on hold. To
return to the call, press the ON (or SPEAKER
PHONE) key.
NOTE: The Handset will display CALL ON HOLD
when a call is placed on hold. If you have new
calls in call log, CALL ON HOLD will display alter-
nately. An H will be displayed to remind you a call
is on hold. If a call remains on Hold for 5 minutes,
your i 5867 Handset will ring to remind you the
call is being held. The phone will display Call On
Hold Ring Back! You have 30 seconds to return
to the call before it is dropped.

Flash Function

You can use your i 5867 with services such as Call Waiting. Simply press the ON/
FLASH key on the Handset to flash the line.
