The set values of the probe switch are 1X and 10X (see Figure 3-5).

To protect you from suffering from the electric shock, do not touch any metal part of the probe tip when it is connected to the power supply. Before making any measurements, always connect the probe to the instrument and connect the ground terminal to the earth.

Only if the oscilloscope fulfills the following condition at first, these specification standards can be reached.  This instrument should run for at least 30 minutes continuously under the specified operating temperature.
