The cutter on a KUHN VBP 2160 baler may not come back up after cutting the wrap due to the following possible causes:
1. Power Supply Issue – The actuator may not retract completely if the power supply is insufficient. Ensure the minimum power supply is 25A. 2. Mechanical Obstruction – A blockage may prevent the net cutting frame from releasing. Check for and remove any obstructions. 3. Defective or Loose Spring – If the spring of the cutting frame is loose or broken, the cutter may not return to its original position. Inspect and replace the spring if necessary. 4. Faulty or Misadjusted Sensors – The net rpm sensor or net wrap brake position sensor may be malfunctioning or incorrectly adjusted. Check and adjust or replace the sensors if needed.
