Using the allen wrench, turn both rear roller adjust-
ment bolts clockwise, 114 of a turn. When the walking
belt is correctly tightened, you should be able to lift
each side of the walking belt 3 to 4 inches off the
walking platform. Be careful to keep the walking belt
• centered. Plug in the power cord, insert the key and
run the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until the
walking belt is propedy tightened.

Use only a single-outlet surge suppressor that is UL 1449 listed as a transient voltage Surge sup-
pressor (TVSS). The surge suppressor must have a UL suppressed voltage rating of 400 volts or
less and a minimum surge dissipation of 450 joules. The surge suppressor must be electricaily
rated for 120 volts AC and 15 amps.
If the walking belt is overtightened, treadmill perfor-
mance may decrease and the walking belt may be per-
manently • damaged. Remove the key and UNPLUG
THE POWER CORD. Using the allen wrench, tum

of a tum. When the walking belt is properlytightened,
you should be able to lift each side of the walking belt

b. The CR 2032 battery may need to be replaced.
To replace the battery, locate the battery cover on the back of the
sensor unit. Insert a coin into the slot in the cover, turn the cover
counterclockwise, andremove it.

Remove the old battery and Insert a new CR 2032 battery, making
sure that the battery is turned so the writing is on top. Make sure that
the rubber gasket is in place in the sensor unit. Replace the battery
cover and turn it clockwise to close it.
