You can change the assignments to suit your needs. To change an assignment, highlight one of the
4 navigation keys (Up, Down, Left, Right), press
OK.
Tip: When you highlight one of the 4 navigation keys (Up, Down, Left, Right), the name of the
function assigned to this key appears immediately below or above this key.
Haptic feedback
You can turn on haptic feedback, so that whenever you press a key of your phone, your phone
vibrates to signal that you've pressed a key.
Note: Turning on this function will shorten your phone's battery life.
15.3 Network settings
Network selection
Choose Automatic to let your phone automatically connect to a suitable mobile network.
If you choose Manual, your phone will search for and display the available mobile networks. You
can then select one of the mobile networks from the list to connect your phone to.
15.4 Speed dial
Assign phone numbers to some keys so that you can place a call by pressing a single key. For
instructions for changing these settings, see "10.3 Speed dial" on page 13.
15.5 Security settings
SIM security
PIN lock: Enable or disable the PIN code for the installed mini-SIM card.
Change PIN: Change the PIN code for the installed mini-SIM card.
For instructions for changing these settings, see "5.3 Entering the PIN code" on page 8.
Phone security
Phone lock: Turn the phone lock on or off.
Change password: Change the password for the phone lock.
Tip: You can change these settings in a very similar way as you change the settings for SIM security.
15.6 Bluetooth
Bluetooth allows your phone to exchange data (videos, images, music, etc.) with another Bluetooth
device (phone, computer, printer, headset, car kit, etc.) within a close range.
