7 FAULT DIAGNOSTICS
POSSIBLE CAUSE
This is normal, the drying fan
will run whenever the drawer is
closed for a set period of time
after the program has finished.
Detergent dispenser was wet
when detergent was added.
The wash cycle has not
finished. It is in a quiet phase
needed to ensure the best wash
results.
This is normal condensation.
This is normal.
Drain hose(s) bent or kinked.
Blocked filter
rinse aid run out
Rinse aid setting too low
Rinse aid turned off
Dishwasher overloaded or
incorrectly loaded.
Some foods, like tomato based

WHAT TO DO

Check the drain hoses are free from kinks and routed
correctly to the drain.
Ensure the filter plate/drain filter is cleaned regularly.
Ensure the customer is filling the rinse aid dispenser
when required.
Increase rinse aid setting to required level.
Turn on the rinse aid, and set to correct level
Explain to the customer to the correct loading pattern.
Advise customers to pre-rinse dishes before placing
them in the drawer. Alternatively using the rinse
program after adding the dishes may minimise staining.
Ensure the dishes did not nest together.
Dishes left too long in the drawer may accumulate
condensation from moisture left in the bottom of the
drain filter area. Also check rinse aid is full or is set at
the correct setting.
Refill the rinse aid dispenser
Increase the rinse aid setting
Advise the customer to use a standard wash program
based on soil level.
DD**C models only: The customer can select a wash
program with an extra dry feature.
This is normal on installation, or if the dishwasher has
not been used for a long period of time. Pour 3 cups of
water into the drawer before running a wash program.
Check for obstructions in the motor area.
