BEFORE FIRST USE
FIT THE REAR WHEELS (D model only)
If you have purchased a TW trolley stand or All Terrain stand to go with your log splitter then you
can ignore this step as the wheels are attached to the stand for the TW and not required for the All
terrain stand. See page 28 for the stand assembly instructions.

Place an axle pin (110) through a wheel (63) and then through a socket on the back of the rear legs.
Insert an RClip (108) through the hole in the end of the axle pin to secure it. Fit a hub cap (61) in the
centre of the wheel. Note the hub cap generally needs a thump with the heel of the hand to locate it
securely.
FIT THE LIFTING HANDLE (For use outside of the European Union)
When used outside of the European Union, a lifting handle is supplied so the machine
can be lifted up and moved on the rear wheels. This is fitted to the top face of the
cross piece on the end of the ram using the two bolts supplied which screw into the
threaded holes in the top face.
If using the log splitter in the European Union then this handle should not be fitted
as it obstructs the work bench and safety guard when fitted, see the next section.
