For enhanced deep bass
Press the T-BASS button to turn on and to adjust
the T-BASS level (4 variable levels).
To cancel the T-BASS effect, press the button
until the indicator disappears.
Foraclear and vivid high-defini-
tion sound—BBE system
The two main causes of sound distortion are the
deterioration of the higher harmonics andimproper
phase characteristics.
The BBE
system com-
pensates for these causes of distortion to produce
a clear, high-definition sound reproduction closer
to that of the original source.
Press the BBE button to turn on and to adjust the
BBE level (4 variable levels).
Tocancelthe BBE effect, press the button until the
indicator disappears.

Tochange the balance of the right and left speaker,
turn the BALANCE control knob.

To adjust the volume
To increase the volume, turn the VOLUME control
knob clockwise.
To decrease, turn counterclockwise.

Para cambiar el nivel relativo de la salida de los
altavoces derecho e izquierdo, gire el control
BALANCE.

Paraaumentar

When recording
The VOLUME and BALANCE contro! knobs, and the T-
BASS button have no effect.
Headphone use
Connect headphones to the PHONES jack (6.32).
To mute the sound temporarily
Press the MUTE button on the remote controller. The
indicator on the VOLUME control blinks. To restore the
sound, press the same button again.

Cuando grabe
Los controles VOLUME y BALANCE y el botén T-BASS

Utilizacién de auriculares
Conecte los auriculares a la toma PHONES (6,3mm a).
Para silenciar temporalmente el sonido
Presione el bot6n MUTE
del controlador remoto.
El
indicador del control VOLUME comenzara a parpadear.
Para restablecer el sonido, vuelva a presionar el mismo
boton.
