Adjusting the sound

You can reinforce the bass and create a more
powerful sound.
Press i-Bass on the unit.
Each time you press the button, the display
changes cyclically as follows:
LOW* t HIGH* t OFF
* The volume switches to power mode, the equalizer
curve changes, and the i-Bass button lights up.

Selecting the sound effect

Selecting the effect from the
music menu
Press EQ repeatedly to select the preset
you desire.
The preset name appears in the display.
See the chart "Sound effect options".
To cancel the sound effect
Press EQ repeatedly until "EQ OFF" appears.

HEAVY
Sound with boosted heavy bass
that is suited to rock and heavy
metal.
VOCAL
Sound with boosted bass and
midrange that lets vocals
reverberate.
SALSA
Sound with boosted bass and
treble that is suited to Latin music.
TECHNO
Sound with reinforced bass and
treble that is suited to techno
music.
HIP HOP
Sound with amplified bass and
treble that is suited to Hip Hop and
other rhythmical music.
USER*
User preset music source (see
"Adjusting the graphic equalizer
and storing" on page 21).
* If you have set manually the equalizer setting.
