Picture
in Picture (PIP) Operation
This television includes a two tuner Picture In Picture (PIP) feature_ This allows watching two (2) live broadcasts at the
same time with or without an external video source (VCR).
Without
a VCR
Procedure
Connect incoming cable to anteena (ANT) inpu[ on back of TV.
Press the PiP button on the remote control to display the PIP [rame.
Choose channels for the PIP frame by pressing the remote control PIP CH _
buttons,
Choose channels for the Main Picture by pressing the remote control OH A_" buttons or by using the numeric
keypad,
Note:
The audio is from the Main Picture only,
With a VCR and Cable Box
Connect your television to a VCR an( cable box, as shown,

Note:
The Remote Control must be programmed
with supplied
codes to operate
the VCR and cable box. (See
"Programming
the Remote" on page 16.)
Procedure
Press the PIP button on the remote controi to display the PIP frame
To view scrambled channels through your cable box in the PIP frame:
•
Press the INPUT button on [he remote control to select the video input to which your VCR is connected.
Verify the CABLE BOX and VCR are ON and the VCR tuned to channel 3 or 4,
Choose channels for the PIP frame by pressing the CABLE
button on the remote control and using the
numeric keypad or OH h,_' buttons.
Choose channels for the Main Picture by pressing [be TV button on the remote control and using the numeric
keypad or OH A _' buttons.

The audio is from the Main Picture only,
