ADJUSTMENT
Operation
e If the power is turned on with the test pin jumper
shorted, the A PB Lch data are set.
At this time, the value currently written in the
E?PROM is read as each adjustment data.
The ad-
justment OK/ERR condition is also read (only when
the normal data are written).
Besides, all the adjustment finish conditions are
turned off and all the backup check data are broken.
if the adjustment data for an item is not written, the
center value is read.
e Select an item to be adjusted with the [DOLBY] key,
and heighten or lower the adjustment value with the
[SKIP UP/SKIP DOWN] keys.
If in the unit mode, the adjustment value of the cur-
rently adjusted item is output in series.
If in the system mode, the adjustment value of the
currently adjusted item is indicated.
Explanation of keys
e [N/DUBB] key : Deletion of each adjustment item
Used to initialize only the adjustment value of the cur-
rently adjusted item.
A, B PB value>30
B REC EQ value->15
B BIAS value>40
Unit mode : Short No. 3 and No. 7 of CN9 to each
other.

[H/DUBB] key : Writing of all adjustment items
Used to transfer all the currently adjusted data to the
E?PROM write in it, so that they can be backed up.
Also used to complete the adjustment in each mode
and back it up.
If this key is pressed during the manual adjustment,
when the machine is turned on in the normal mode
or test mode next time, the adjustment data are read
out of the E7PROM.
Unit mode : Short No. 4 and No. 7 of CN9 to each
other.
After the adjustment, if the manual adjustment is re-
set without pressing this key, when the machine is
turned on in the normal mode or test mode next
time, the initial values are read since the backup
check data have not been written.

® [DOLBY] key : Cyclic change of adjustment item
Used to change the currently adjusted item cyclically.
* Unit mode : Short No. 2 and No. 7 of CN9 to each
other.

¢ [SKIP UP/DOWN] key : Heightening and lowering of
adjustment value
Used to heighten and lower the adjustment value of
the currently adjusted item.
UP:
(Example : 63 step >:
15 step >-..-+ 0 step)
DOWN
:
(Example : 0 step >---> 15 step ---» 63 step)
Each time the value is changed, the adjustment data
conformed to the current operation of the mecha-
nism are transferred to the system IC, then the serial
code is output or indicated.

: 20~60 step
* Unit mode
UP : Short No. 4 and No. 6 of CN9 to each other.
DOWN : Short No. 3 and No. 6 of CN9 to each other.
¢ [CCRS] key
Used to reset the manual adjustment mode.
* Unit mode : Short No. 1 and No. 7 of CN9 to each
other.

Used for the ordinary operation.
