General description

The machine is designed for use in professional, works and volunteer
fire brigades for the purposes of reprocessing breathing apparatus.

How it works

The laboratory washer is designed for machine cleaning and disinfec-
tion of breathing apparatus and similarly categorised components
and parts. For the purposes of cleaning and disinfection, heated wash
water is sprayed onto the load items by spray arms. The cleaning and
disinfection process is supported by suitable process chemicals. In-
tegrated process monitoring ensures standardisation and reproducib-
ility.
The use of suitable load carriers (mobile units, modules, inserts, etc.)
is important to ensure adequate cleaning and protection of the load
items.

Purpose

This Miele laboratory washer can be used to clean, rinse and chemic-
ally disinfect breathing apparatus for professional use that can be re-
processed by machine. Information issued by the manufacturers of
the breathing apparatus must be heeded.
The laboratory washer may only be used with load carriers and other
components that have been approved for the machine by the manu-
facturer and are designed for the breathing apparatus.
Breathing apparatus, e.g.:
- Air regulators
- Breathing masks
- Compressed air units
- Carrier frames for compressed air units
- Compressed air bottles
The machine may only be used by trained professionals who have the
necessary level of specialist knowledge to reprocess breathing ap-
paratus such as air regulators, breathing masks, compressed air
units, carrier frames for compressed air units and compressed air
bottles.
Average use is 2 cycles per day.
