The battery-operated co-botic 45 is equipped with a brush that provides a deep scrub and a great cleaning result. The co-botic 45 significantly reduces the amount of chemicals needed, which leads to a greener result.

2 Safety warnings Observe all applicable standards relating to the repair of electrical appliances. Always disconnect the power plug from the mains before beginning repair work. 2.1 Symbols used Symbol Term Explanation WARNING Indicates a hazardous situation which, if the safety instructions are not followed, can lead to injuries of the operator or bystanders and light or moderate damage to the product or the environment.
When replacing cables make sure the replacing cables have the same diameter as the original ones (AWG standard). • The co-botic 45 is a heavy machine. When needed always use two persons to lift it. • The temperature of the water used in or on the co-botic 45 should be below 40 Using water with a temperature above 40 C.

• Take the necessary measures to ensure that hair, jewelry and/or other loose parts can be caught by any moving parts of the machine. • Before transporting or storing the machine always empty the clean- and dirty water tank. Doing so will avoid problems that might occur with temperatures below freezing point.
3 Transport and storage 3.1 General CAUTION Always keep the main body of the co-botic 45 in the upright position. Make sure the clean water tank and recovery tank are part of the main body during transport. Before storage or transport, drain the machine. Remove the battery after each use. 3.2 Store position The correct store position is the upright vertical position.
Lift the co-botic 45 while moving it from one building to another. CAUTION The co-botic 45 is heavy. Do not try to carry the unit by yourself. You should always use someone's help. CAUTION The handle shown in figure 2, pos.

8. Lift the co-botic 45 into your vehicle using the carrying handles (Figure 2, pos. 2). 9. Prevent the co-botic 45 from moving around during transport by using a tension belt or another appropriate restraint.
4.1 Warranty The co-botic 45™ should be used as intended and described in this manual. Using the co-botic 45 outdoors will void the warranty on the product. 4.2 Identification Each co-botic 45 has a unique serial number: • Serial number (Figure 3, pos. 1).

7 Mid front cover and window panel assembly removal For a number of repairs on the co-botic 45, the mid front cover needs to be removed. Tool(s): Remarks Screwdriver Torx Material(s): Remarks None 7.1.1 Disassembly Press the yellow knob underneath the clean water tank.
Lift the LED-ring from the top of the Co-botic and remove. Figure 15 With the mid front cover and the LED-ring removed the Window Panel Assembly can be removed from the co-botic 45. When needed, disconnect the cable attached to the Window Panel Assembly. When the Co-botic 45 is not equiped with a carrying handle, loosen the 2 x 2 pcs EJOT T8 screws on the either side of the Lower Head Panel. Figure 20 Slide out the Lower Head Panel. Figure 21 Loosen the network cable (#201) and the power cable (#202) from the top head panel assembly.

14 Replacement Power distribution board Tool(s): Remarks Screwdriver Torx Material(s): Remarks None 14.1.1 Disassembly ATTENTION When replacing the Power distribution board, the Mid Front Cover needs to be removed, see chapter 7. WARNING Electronic component can easily be damaged by Electro Static Discharge (ESD). To protect the electronic components always wear ESD anti static gloves when working on electronic components or mainboards.
The distribution board can now be replaced. Figure 38 14.1.2 Assembly After replacing the ultrasonic sensor, the co-botic 45 can be re-assembled. 16 Replacement of the Suction Motor Tool(s): Remarks Screwdriver Flat and torx Material(s): Remarks None 16.1.1 Disassembly ATTENTION When replacing the Suction Motor, the Mid Front Cover needs to be removed, see chapter 7. Loosen 4 hose clamps, 2 at the hose at the top and and two at the bottom of the Suction Motor.
Suction Motor. The Suction Motor can now be removed. Figure 44 16.1.2 Assembly After replacing the Suction Motor, the co-botic 45 can be re-assembled. Follow the steps as indicated in figure 41 till figure 44 and figure 16 till figure 12 in reversed order. Click here...
17 Replacement of the Water Pump Tool(s): Remarks Cutting pliers Screwdriver Torx and flat (small) Material(s): Remarks Tiewraps 17.1.1 Disassembly ATTENTION When replacing the Water Pump, the Mid Front Cover and the Window Panel Assembly need to be removed, see chapter 7. Disconnect the 4 wires to the Water Pump.
Except the YELLOW wire which should be connected to the GREEN wire. After replacing the Water Pump, the co-botic 45 can be re-assembled. Follow the steps as indicated in figure 45 till figure 47 and figure 16 till figure 12 in reversed order.
18 Cleaning of the spraying nozzles Tool(s): Remarks None Material(s): Remarks Needle ATTENTION When the amount of water sprayed is not enough, the nozzles underneath the co-botic might be clogged with scale. Turn the co-botic on its side so the bottom is easily accessable.
19 Replacement of a Caster wheel Tool(s): Remarks Screwdriver Torx Material(s): Remarks None 19.1.1 Disassembly Tilt the co-botic such that the wheels underneath can be accessed. Loosen the 4 torx screws and remove the caster wheel. Replace the wheel when needed. Figure 50 19.1.2 Assembly For assembly of the caster wheel follow the step as indicated in Figure 50.
20 Replacement of a Drive wheel Tool(s): Remarks Screwdriver Torx Material(s): Remarks None 20.1.1 Disassembly Tilt the co-botic such that the wheels underneath can be accessed. Loosen the 6 screws of the connection board and remove the cover. Figure 51 Disconnect the connector of the relevant electric motor.
Remove the wheel assembly. Figure 54 20.1.2 Assembly For assembly of the Drive wheel follow the steps as indicated in Figure 51 till Figure 54 in reversed order. ATTENTION When assembling the drive wheel, assure that the flat surface on the drive shaft faces the fixed bearing half, see figure 55.
21 Replacement of the SIM-card tray Tool(s): Remarks Screwdriver Torx Material(s): Remarks None 21.1.1 Disassembly When replacing the SIM-card tray and the Top and Lower Head Panel Assembly need to be removed, see chapter 8. Disconnect the data cable (#310) of the SIM- card from the Router.
Lift the blue cover and loosen the 4 the screws holding the SIM-card tray. Remove the SIM-card holder and replace. Figure 59 21.1.2 Assembly For assembly of the SIM-card holder follow the steps as indicated in figure 56 till figure 59 and figure 24 till figure 17 in reversed order.
22 Replacement of the Cooling fan Tool(s): Remarks Screwdriver Torx Material(s): Remarks None 22.1.1 Disassembly ATTENTION When replacing the Cooling fan, the Mid Front Cover and the Window Panel Assembly need to be removed, see chapter 7. Unplug the connector from the cooling fan. Loosen the 4 torx screws and remover the fan.
23 Replacement of the In- and outlet tubes Tool(s): Remarks Screwdriver Crosshead Cutting pliers Material(s): Remarks Tiewraps Small 23.1.1 Disassembly ATTENTION When replacing the inlet or outlet tubes, the Mid Front Cover and the Window Panel Assembly need to be removed, see chapter 7. ATTENTION It is best practice to replace both inlet and outlet tube at the same time.
ATTENTION Tighten the tiewraps tightly in order to avoid them coming loose when the co- botic 45 is in use. 23.1.2 Assembly For assembly after replacing the inlet- or outlet tubes follow the steps as indicated in figure 61 and figure 62 and figure 16 till figure 12 in reversed order. 24 Replacement of the Dirty water level sensor The sensors of the dirty water tank, see figure 63 and the clean water tank, see figure 64 are integrated in both tanks. They can not be separated from the tanks. When either one of the sensors cause any problem, replace the respective tank for a new one.
25 Replacement of the ON/OFF relays switch Tool(s): Remarks Screwdriver Torx Material(s): Remarks None 25.1.1 Disassembly ATTENTION When replacing the ON/OFF relays switch, the Mid Front Cover and the Window Panel Assembly need to be removed, see chapter 7. Loosen the hose at the bottom of the suction motor, see chapter 16.
Loosen the 2 screws (Ejot delta PT 50x14) on either side of the cooling ribs. Remove the relay switch and replace the entire unit if needed. Figure 67 25.1.2 Assembly For assembly of the ON/OFF relays switch follow the steps as indicated in figure 65 till figure 67 and figure 16 till figure 12 in reversed order.
26 Replacement of a Speaker Tool(s): Remarks Screwdriver Torx Material(s): Remarks None 26.1.1 Disassembly ATTENTION When replacing a Speaker, the Top and Lower Head Panel Assembly need to be removed, see chapter 8. Disconnect the cables (#704 or #705) of the speaker.
27 Replacement of Brush motor Tool(s): Remarks Screwdriver Torx Material(s): Remarks None 27.1.1 Disassembly When problems with the Brush motor always first check if the motor receives enough current from the connection board. Measure at the indicated points, also check figure 91.

When the display is damaged, return the entire Top Head Panel Assembly to the manufacturer. For removal of the Top Head Panel Assembly, see chapter 8.
30 Replacement of the Control board of the display Tool(s): Remarks None Material(s): Remarks None 30.1.1 Disassembly ATTENTION When replacing the Control board of the display, the Top and Lower Head Panel Assembly need to be removed, see chapter 8. Loosen the network cable (#201) and the power cable (#202).
Loosen the 4 screws holding the display. Figure 77 Remove the connector cable from the display. The controlboard can be removed and replaced when needed. 31 Replacement of the Spring operated suspension of a drive motor Tool(s): Remarks None Material(s): Remarks None 31.1.1 Disassembly ATTENTION When replacing the Suspension of a drive wheel, first remove the wheel as described in chapter 20. Loosen the 4 screws holding the spring operated suspension.
32 Replacement of Control board for the drive and lift motor Tool(s): Remarks Cutting pliers Screwdriver torx Material(s): Remarks None 32.1.1 Disassembly Tilt the co-botic such that the wheels underneath can be accessed. Loosen the 6 screws of the connection board and remove the cover.

33 Replacement of the Lift motor Tool(s): Remarks None Material(s): Remarks None When problems with the Lift motor always first check if the motor receives enough current from the connection board. Measure at the indicated points, also check figure 91. Figure 84 When the power supply is okay, the Lift motor needs to be replaced.
34 Replacement of the 2D Lidar sensor Tool(s): Remarks Screwdriver Torx Material(s): Remarks None 34.1.1 Disassembly ATTENTION When replacing the 2D Lidar sensor, the Mid Front Cover and the Window Panel Assembly need to be removed, see chapter 7. Disconnect the power cable and network cable (#204).
Loosen the 2 x 2 screws on eiter side of the bracket. Remove the 2D Lidar sensor and replace. Figure 87 34.1.2 Assembly For assembly of the 2D Lidar sensor follow the steps as indicated in figure 85 till figure 87 and figure 16 till figure 12 in reversed order.
