Inflating the castor wheel tyres

Permobil recommends that you check the tyre pressure weekly and after any
significant change in temperature or altitude. Incorrect tyre pressure may
make the wheelchair unstable and difficult to drive. It can also result in
abnormal wear, a shorter driving range, and damage to the wheel assembly.
The tyre pressure for the castor wheel tyres is 250 kPa (35 psi).
This is how you inflate the castor wheel tyres. You need the valve adapter
from the wheelchair's tool bag.
1.
Unscrew and remove the valve cap from the tyre valve.
2. Attach the valve adapter to the tyre valve.
3. Connect the compressed air nozzle to the valve and adjust the tyre
pressure to the correct level.
4. Put the valve adapter back into the tool bag and put the valve cap back.
