INTERNAL FUSE CHECK
2.1
To check the correct rating of the internal fuses refer to paragraphs 2.4 and 2.5.

CAUTION:
fvA.ains voltages ore exposed if the case is removed.
2.2
(1) Ensure that the fuselink on the rear panel of the mains pock is correctly rated for
the mains supply voltage. (Pora.2.4).
(2) Fit a suitable power plug to the power lead supplied. The lead is coded as follows:-
Brown (or red) • • • • • •
Blue {or block)

Green/Yellow (or green)

• • • Neutro I
. • • Earth (ground)
(3) Connect the mains pock to the counter

(4) Connect the mains supply.
(5) Switch on the instrument using the OFF/PERIOD/FREQUENCY lever switch on
the front panel.

BATTERY PACK OPERATION
2.3
(1) Ensure that the fuse links in the battery pock ore correctly rated.
(2) Connect the battery pock to the instrument and tighten

the two finger-screws.
(3) Set the CHARGE/OPERATE switch on the Battery Pock to OPERATE.
(4) Switch on the instrument using the OFF/PERIOD/FREQUENCY lever switch on
the front panel.
