Using the PROGRAM AE function
(1) In CAMERA
mode,
select PROGRAM
AE in _
in the menu
settings
(p. 80).
(2) Select the desired
PROGRAM
AE mode
in the menu
settings,
then press
the
SEL/PUSH
EXEC dial.

To cancel the PROGRAM
AE function
Set PROGRAM AE to AUTO in the menu settings.
Notes
• In the spotlight,
sports lesson and beach & ski modes,
you cannot take close-ups.
This
is because
your camcorder
is set to focus only on subjects
in the middle
to far distance.
• In the sunset
& moon and landscape
modes,
your camcorder
is set to focus only on
distant subjects.
• The following
functions
do not work in the PROGRAM
AE mode:
Slow shutter
Old movie
- Bounce
• The following
functions
do not work in the low lux mode:
Digital
eff_,ct
- Overlap
Wipe
Dot
• While setting NIGHTSHOT
to ON, the PROGRAM
AE function
does not work. (The
indicator
flashes.)
Even if the PROGRAM AE function
is selected
You can adjust the exposure
manually.
If you are recording under a discharge
tube such as a fluorescent lamp, sodium
lamp or mercury lamp
Flicks,ring
or changes
in color may occur in the following
modes.
If this happens,
turn
the PROGRAM
AE function
off.
