Notes
1. UP / DOWN
will
increment
continuously
if pressed
for longer than 1 second.
2. The
microphone
switch
is operational
even
when
the F.LOCK switch on the main unit is turned ON.
3. Be sure
to turn the POWER
switch
OFF when
you
plug in or remove
the microphone.
Keys 1, 2, and 3 on the microphone are initially assigned
to
memory
channels
1, 2, and
3, respectively.
The
functions
of the keys on the transceiver
can
be set as
follows:
1. Hold down transceiver
key 1 (or 2 or 3) and turn the
power
on. The
programmable
function
1 (or 2 or 3)
indicator appears for 10 seconds.

2. When
you
press
a
key
on
the
transceiver,
the
function of that key is assigned to key 1 (or 2 or 3) on
the SMC-33.
Example: When you press the CALL key, key 1 on the
SMC-33 becomes the CALL key. When you press the F
key, then
the CALL
key, key 1 becomes
the
CALL
SCAN key.
The keys that you can set for keys 1, 2, and 3 on the
SMC-33 and their functions are listed on the next page.

When
the LOCK
switch is turned ON the MRI, MR2, and
MRS keys on the front of the microphone are disabled.
