@LAMP key
This switch is used to control the night lamp on the LCD
display.
The
lamp
will
turn
itself
OFF
automatically
5
seconds after the last key operation.
Pressing the key within 10 seconds of pressing the F key
will light the lamp on the LCD display parmanently
until
pressing this key again.
©RELEASE button
Press this button upward to release the battery pack.

@UXU
/ VM SCAN key
This switch
is used to select dual UHF watch
operation.
In dual watch operation the V indicator will light on the
previous VHF band display.
Pressing the key within 10 seconds of pressing the F key
will initiate VFO and last memory channel scan.
@CALL/C SCAN key
Press this key to activate the call channel function.
Pressing the key within 10 seconds of pressing the F key
will initiate CALL CHANNEL SCAN .
( Mode key )
When
this key is held down
and the power switched
on,
it becomes
the
Mode
key for switching
between
the
VFO
mode,
Memory
channel
mode,
and
Call
channel
mode.
@BAND / A.B.C.(Automatic Band Change) key
This key is used to exchange the contents
of the main
band and sub band.
Pressing the key within 10 seconds of pressing the F key
will transfer the contents
of the sub band to the main
band
whenever
a signal
is received
at the
sub
band
antenna,
which
is strong
enough
to open
the squelch.
The contents of the main band are transfered to the sub
band at the same time.(A.B.C. function)
