4-2-5. A.B.C (Automatic Band Change)
The
A.B.C.
function
allows
you
to exchange
the
con-
tents
of SUB
band
to
the
MAIN
band
automatically
whenever a signal is received in the SUB band and SUB
squelch is open. When the sub band is the TX band all
the following band changes are reversed.
1. Press the F key, then press the BAND/A.B.C
key. The
A.B.C. indicator will turn on in the display.
2. As soon as a signal is received in the SUB band, band
change occurs .
The Tuning control
is ineffective during this change.

switch

If PTT switch is not pressed, within
3 seconds
after
the signal goes off,the MAIN
band
is restored
to its
original frequency.
If BAND
key is pressed,the

band
is restored

its original
frequency
upon
receiving
the signal,
and
the ABC function is on.
