Properly performed regular maintenance is an essential prerequisite for
operational safety,

failure-free operation,

long service life of the drill bit grinder and

the quality of the products which you manufacture.

Installations and equipment from other manufacturers must also be in good order and condition.

Safety

WARNING!
The consequences of incorrect maintenance and repair work may include:
Heaviest injuries of the persons working on the drill bit grinder

Damages on the drill bit grinder

Only qualified staff should carry out maintenance and repair work on the drill bit grinder.

Preparation

WARNING!
Only work on the drill bit grinder when the mains plug is disconnected.
6.1.2

Restarting

WARNING!
Before starting the drill bit grinder imperatively make sure that there are
no dangers generated for persons,

that the drill bit grinder is not damaged.


Inspection and maintenance

The type and extent of wear depends to a large extent on individual usage and service
conditions.

Units contaminated by grinding dust lead to electrical malfunctions for which we do not
accept any guarantee or liability.

Regularly clean the drill grinding device from grinding dust. Contamination by grinding dust
in the guideways, bearings and on electrical components leads to considerable wear and
damage. Use a hoover to remove grinding dust from the drill grinding device.
6.3 Repairs
Request for a service technician of the company Optimum Maschinen Germany GmbH for all
repairs or send us the drill bit grinder.
