The DC of the upper medium must be known and constant. The DC can be determined with
the aid of the DC manual SD106F. In addition, it is also possible to calculate the DC
automatically in FieldCare if the interface thickness is available and known.

The measured distances from the reference point to the product level and the interface are
shown. Check whether the values correspond to the actual distances. The following cases can
occur:
• Distances correct -> continue with group selection
• Distance to level incorrect -> empty tank/bypass and perform mapping over the entire probe
length (see BA366F - "Description of Device Functions".
• Distance to interface incorrect -> check entry for "Medium Prop." (003).
