NOTICE:
The radio alerts you when NNTN8921and NNTN8930 batteries are attached to the radio as
these batteries are not supported. The radio is not HAZLOC-certified and resets if these
batteries are used. Refer to the radio FM or UL Manual for more information.
The radio does not display any indication when the radio is connected to the charger, when the
radio and battery match, or when the radio certification type is configured as None in Customer
Programming Software (CPS).
This feature is enabled through CPS configuration. Check with your dealer or system administrator for
more information.

LED Indications
The Status LED shows the operational status of your radio.

your radio.

Radio is transmitting.
Radio is transmitting at low battery condition.
Radio is transmitting an emergency alarm or call.
Radio has failed the self-test upon powering up or encountered a fatal er-
ror.
Channel is busy in conventional mode.
Radio is receiving a secured transmission.
Radio is powering up or is on a non-priority channel while in the Scan List
Programming mode.
Radio is receiving an individual or telephone call or is on a Priority-Two
channel while in the Scan List Programming mode.
Radio is on a Priority-One channel while in the Scan List Programming
mode.
Description
Radio is receiving a call or data.
Radio is transmitting a call or data.
