  • Page 2 PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE BEGINNING The A-Frame Junior can be installed as a one day project. The normal time required to install the AF30 is about 30-45 minutes for a two man crew.
  • Page 4 BRASS BUSHING SWING HANGER ASSEMBLY 1. Loosen and remove the two nyloc jam nuts. 2. Reassemble on to swing top rail. Please refer to the spacing dimensions shown on the image on the previous page. 3.Tighten securely using a ¾” socket so that the hanger is firmly attached in place and cannot slide or swivel along the top rail.
  • Page 5 ASSEMBLY 1. Make sure to find a flat, level area to assemble your swing set. 2. Lay the top rail with the assembled swing hangers on its side. 3. Insert the 4 legs (7’10” long) into the sleeves of the top rail. Please note that there is a hole drilled near the center of each leg.
  • Page 6 5. Next have two adults stand on opposite ends and stand the frame up into the place you want it to be installed. After standing it up, temporarily loosen the set screw on each leg. 6. Attach the two spreader bars to the outside of the a-frame legs with the provided nuts and bolts.
  • Page 7 7. Go through and make sure every bolt and set screw is tight. Attach the chain to the carabiners on the swing hangers, and attach the seats to the chain using the remaining carabiners. To adjust the height of the swing seats, simply connect the carabiner to a different chain link at the top of the chain.

  • Page 9 These items can be purchased in aerosol cans (“spray paint”) at most hardware stores and at Component Playgrounds. The brass bushings inside of the swing hanger are impregnated with lubricant and will not generally require any further lubrication.
  • Page 10 To Help Prevent Injuries from Falls & Other Hazards 1. Never attach, or allow children to attach the following items to your swing set: Ropes, jump ropes, clotheslines, pet leashes or any similar type of item to your swing set. Any item such as these may present a strangulation hazard.
