8H: Setting for the fan to turn off
automatically after eight hours of
operation.
In order to be able to use the ceiling fan
through the remote control, the receptor
included with this device must be installed
before, as explained in the installation
section of this manual.
To use the remote control, you must add 2
batteries to the bottom of the remote.
(see picture 07 on page 8)
Each remote control is associated with the
receiver included with the fan.
When you turn off the fan with the remote
control, the last light setting will be saved.
For example, if the light was set in "warm"
position last time you used it, the next time
you turn on the fan via the remote control
the light will be in the same setting.
If you turn on the fan via your room's
switch installation, the settings will not be
saved and the light will be on the factory
default color.
WINTER FUNCTION
This option involves reversing the blades
to distribute the hot air that accumulates
against the ceiling, allowing continued use
of your fan throughout the year.
To use this function simply place the
switch on the "SUMMER" side (on the left)
for the summer months and switch to the
"WINTER" side (on the right) for the winter
months.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
This product does not require a great deal
of maintenance. To clean, please follow the
instructions below:
• Unplug the fan first and wait until it
comes to a complete stop.
• Use only a soft damp cloth.

• Do not use abrasive cleaners.
• If you are not going to use the fan
for some time, it is recommended to
remove the batteries from the remote
control and store it in a clean and dry
place.
