This manual describes how to set up and operate the DD-10EX
Electronic Book Player. Below are some suggestions on how to
use the manual more effectively.
To set up the player
Read the "Preparation" chapter and learn how to choose from the
4 types of power sources available for use. If you want to use a
TV or monitor for display, be sure to read the "Connecting to
Your TV" section on page 23.
To operate the player
The "Operating the Electronic Book Player' chapter documents
the hardware aspects of operation. Be sure to read the
"Inserting/Removing an Electronic Book" section on page 26 and
learn the proper way of handling an electronic book. This device
also doubles as a CD player, and the "Playing a Regular
Compact Disc' section explains the operation.
To learn how to retrieve information
The DD-10EX offers 6 search methods, plus the ability to cross-
refer to related entries. The "Searching for Information" chapter
details their definitions and usages.
Finally, if you come across any problem, see the
"Troubleshooting" section on page 63 for suggestions.
Note that not all of the search methods are supported on every
electronic book. So be sure to check the manual which comes
with your purchased electronic book to find out which search
methods have been included by the publisher.
